Texas Dall Sheep

The Texas Dall sheep are a hybrid of the Corsicana and Mouflon sheep, but those other species don't have “Texas” in their names so Texas Dall are obviously better(they drive Silverados).  Texas Dall rams but heads during the August, September rutting seasons.  Normally a Texas Dall has a white coat and grazes off of grasses, herbs and will eat leaves when they are able to reach them or scrounge them up from the ground.  They are known for their beautiful curving, tan colored horns.

Body Length: 30 – 38 inches
Male Weight: 120 – 160 pounds
Female Weight: 80 – 100 pounds
Horns: Circle and curve down and out 14 – 35 inches long weighing up to 30 pounds
