The Catalina Goat's name originated from domestic goats that went feral and were found on Santa Catalina Island near Los Angeles, CA. The Catalina goat can have numerous combinations of colors for its coat such as black, brown, reddish brown and especially white. Catalina live in hot and dry climates feeding on grasses and leaves.
Body Length: 26 - 36 inches
M Weight: 150 – 180 pounds
F Weight: 65 – 80 pounds
Horns: 20 – 30 inches long with a 30 – 40 inch spread. Females have short horns 4 to 6 inches
Gestation period is 5 months where 1 to 2 kids will be birthed.
