Red Stag

Red Stags are found throughout Europe, the Caucasus Mountains region, Asia Minor, western and central Asia.  They also inhabit the Atlas Mountains region between Morocco and Tunisia in northwestern Africa making them the only species of deer to inhabit Africa.  They were also introduced to Australia, New Zealand and Argentina...and Texas ranches.  Their coat is reddish-brown in the summer and turns brown or gray during the winter months.  Red Stag's diet consists of grasses, tree leaves, shrubs, sedges and rushes.

Antlers: incredible 12 or more points on average reaching 39 inches in width
