The Mouflon can be found in various countries, from Central Asia, Turkey and Pakistan grazing on grasses but will turn to leaves and fruits when food is short.  They have a gray face and white muzzle with vertical black lines below the knees.  Mouflon have a white belly with a coat that varies in color from gray reddish brown and straight brown with European Mouflon having a chestnut color.  The adult rams have a large chest ruff of long, coarse hair which is white around the throat and tapers to black toward the forelegs.  Males tend to have a lighter colored saddle patch which increases in size and gains a black stripe as they get older.
